Google listened, and now lets you make your gender private in Google+. It also uses gender-neutral language—"they" as opposed to "him" or "her"—to make things simpler. Well done!
That seems rather odd...are there really that many people that want to hide their gender ? And anyway, isn't the whole point of the service to communicate and share with other people ? I don't know - just seems weird that people want to have a new social media service, but want to hide one of the most basic aspects of who they are.

I've give enough of my personal information to one company already. I don't think I'll ever sign up for google+
I just got google+, hoping it will win over facebook, I hate facebook. :P
It's going to make my creeping difficult.
Good thing google is listening to its users, that's pretty much the only way they'll survive is by adapting to people's needs.
Changing genre to neutral in 3... 2... 1...

So far it kinda sucks... there is hardly any people on there. lol.
I tried Google + and it's not worth it, everyone should just stick to youtube.

In Diaspora the gender is a textbox, so you can input whatever you want.
