So what exactly is your new tree? A brushed aluminum spiral that extends to a height of six feet when suspended from the ceiling. It can hold up to 250 ornamental items weighing up to 20 pounds around its curving track, and it will either have the effect of making it look like you have a whole whole lot of presents under your tree or not really very many at all, I haven't quite been able to figure out.

The Tannenboing: A Different Kind of Christmas Tree
For those tired of traditional Christmas trees—their prickly needles, their tiresome ornaments, their limited lifespans—there's another way! The Tannenboing, which bills itself as the "modern, sustainable" Christmas tree, is low on upkeep and high on surreal futuristic style.

I wouldn´t afford it, but you can´t say it isn´t original =P
It looks pretty cool but where else can you get it besides online?
Also, isn't it rather pricey?
i think it completely takes away all tradition.. i'll stick with the tree
We use a fake tree at my place. I don't like this tree all that much though, it needs to look more.. Tree like.
It looks like you could drive those little matchbox race cars up and down that tree if you get them for christmas...
p.s. regina spektor is awesome
I like the smell of pine
Original.
neat idea but .....come on; it sucks as a christmas tree
It would be great if the balls were continuously rolling down the ramp.
I would like to have one in my room it looks really nice :D
wow nice. looks good and easy to put up and down
does it spin like a drill?
I used to build crap like this with my hotwheels when I was a kid. I wish I had known I could have sold it for ridiculous amounts of money.
"Does it spin like a drill?"
My tree is the tree that will pierce the north pole!
Well... thats a break from the norm. Hipster tree is hip.
