How To Pirate Vinyl Records

Just because vinyl records are analog, it doesn't mean you can't pirate them. All you need is a wood box, glass, window cement, silicone mixture, liquid plastic and a drill press. Hey, I didn't say it was going to be easy.

To start, you put your record in the wood box and pour the silicone mix over the record to create a mold. Then, you pour the liquid plastic into the silicone mold to make the pirated copy of the record.

Thanks, I was wondering how to share my music with my friends. I'd tell you what bands I listen to, but you've probably never heard of them. They're pretty obscure.

I can imagine an old granpa saying right now, "mp3's?! In my day we used to pirate vinyl records and tell the RIAA to suck off!"

Could be fun to do, though, really.

Well as cool as that is, wouldn't pirating vinyl be more expensive then just buying another one? Although it could turn into a pretty cool art project without having to use vinyl records that you liked.

Wow can't believe people actually thought of that =P

Hahaha. But is it really pirating? More like record burning

hmm i prefer recording it and then compress to mp3 instead.

this is awesome, but this is not pirating anymore, this is preserving old times

Haha, I didn't know you could do that.

This sounds like a bad idea... Does it damage the record?
