NEC has debuted its first Android netbook, the humbly-named LifeTouch Note, in Japan. Spec-wise, the Note runs Android 2.2, has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, up to 8GB of memory, a 7-inch backlit (800 x 480 resolution) resistive touchscreen LCD, GPS, WiFi, SD and SDHC slots, and a 2 megapixel webcam. There will also be a 3G variety for a little extra cash, of course. Other than that, there's no word of when this will be available in Japan, but we do know that it start at around $540.

Seems pretty cool but a bit expensive for what your getting. I goole doesn't turn into Apple 2.0
A lil pricy but I bet it's worth it :)
Would this be the first android with a normal qwerty keyboard?
Sounds like a funny little gadget :)
i dont think i would want an android netbook. i can only assume that the operating system has very little compatibility for any decent programs other than tab programs. i will research it a bit though.
Way two expensive for something that's basically just running a browser. I would definitely check it out if it drops to 250 or 200.
oh wow that dope, but yea pricey
It's got more features than my laptop!! But then again my laptop is old lol
oh sounds great my phone are android too and i love it =)
i think netbooks are awesome i like how portable they are
That's a pretty okay price, does other OS's work well on it also?
expensive stuff... but i like it
wow it looks really neat. thanks for the info on it.
I agree with everyone here. You can get a decent smartphone for the same price.
Even if I had the money I would't buy!
Looks nice but I still don't know if worth it.
cool, im gonna have to get one of those
I don't see the point in getting a netbook, let alone a netbook with android on it
I still want an ipad though. Someone convince me not to go apple.
That does look interesting.
No HD screen? That's not cool bro.
too pricey !
you can get a windows netbook for $300 maybe even $200 if you dont mind shopping around and/or buying a refurb.
Dont get me wrong I like my phone with Android on it but I still wish for a Win 7 tablet.
meh, I'm not a fan of netbooks, but it's pretty powerful for one.
