According to Cnet, here's what Tom Kilroy, Senior Vice President of Marketing, had to say:
"Hey, we tried to get [Microsoft] to do a tablet OS (operating system) for a long time. Us, and others like Dell," said Tom Kilroy, senior vice president and general manager of Intel's Sales and Marketing Group, speaking to CNET at an Intel function last night.
Looks like we're not the only ones who think full-blown Win 7 on a tablet is a bad idea.

On the other hand. A computer tablet rather than an app tablet would be kick-ass. I don't think were their though.
ya screw tablets, i prefer a computer. Well until the Tablet can give me a BJ
I think a Windows 7 tablet would be good (compared to the iPad).
A better cpu in the iPad would be a start.
tablets bla bla bla
PC rules!
i think microsoft is basicly saying, intel, up your game if u cant support our OS
And at that, a price nobody is willing to follow up with. However I do follow your blog keep it up.
Innovation is where the money's at. And more stupid people than smart people spend their money on silly things. If they can make more money selling "user friendly" tablets I'd say go for it.
its all about a computer tablet as another person commented. If i wanted an app device i would just buy a phone. But thanks for the news!
seriously?
tabs are old news son
multitasking in iPad would be an improvement
W7 tab PC's would blow apple out of the fucking water...FACT
