There's a tad more RAM too, going from 256MB to 512MB. It's on sale globally from November, and while it's not that different to the previous Bold (which it itself wasn't much different from the 9000), it'll be a nice jump-up for BlackBerry users wanting an upgrade but who are not quite ready for the scary future of touchscreens just yet.

I think Blackberry is going to take back some of the lead they lost to droid with these new phones.
I'm sure it does!
Cool, but I still don't need to buy it.
As an Android faithful, I am unimpressed. Great post, though.
satisfied with my android. heh.
Seems alright, as long as its not touch screen.
Nice upgrade from older version, considerable improvements.
Better camera is always good in my book.

Pretty sexy phone.
I made the switch to Droid X, but miss my BB sometimes. Nice phone!
I want a blackberry so bad :(.,
Love my 8330. Definitely need an upgrade though :S.

Hmm i've never been a fan of RIM, but they do make good phones.
I wonder if these tiny cameras really take good pictures or just very big blury pics.
I still like the Torch
What's scary is that these changes are minor. But in a year; what's the REAL difference gonna be?
i want that phone :(

Here in Holland their is a Blackberry invasion.. everyone wants one..
I've always wanted a blackberry. This one does look nice...
Double the ram, nice!
black berry look very nice...
When is the next BB Torch coming out? I bought the first Bold right after it came out, and the 9700 showed up like a week later.
Now that's quite an impressive iteration of the previous model. More memory and updated OS means people can use its many business and productivity apps easier. Just imagine how the enterprise server would run here.
