German architectural firm Davidson Rafailidis created this prototype, constructed out of plastic and wood, that hooks up directly to a window for both light and warmth. Probably not a great space for the claustrophobes out there, but might make for an excellent place to get some work done without having to put on a sweater. Or hide some bodies. Y'know, whatever's your thing.

That would be more of a trippy room than an insular room for me, it would probably be problematic due to all the animals I have around as well, however for an artist or writer or anyone who has quiet and wants to work i could see that being rather useful
i would buy one but it looks so fragile!
haha thats cool
I've been doing that for years.
Admittedly, in more functional rectangle shapes.
Interesting concept. Though yes, not very comfortable if you dislike cramped spaces.
That sure is a trippy room. For now, i won't put that in my house, ever. But since it's just a prototype i can see the possibilities.
weird looking thing
I think it would be cool, but my kids would destroy it in under a week.
Craziest room I've ever seen O_o
it looks like brain damage
I would love a place like this ;_;
good for doing homework
Very interesting!
bet you could grow some nice tomatoes in there o.o
Oh god, what?
Camping indoors.
Wow, that looks neat.
I bet it would feel super closed-in, though.
this looks cool, would be scary as hell to be in though when its night time.
I love the ingenuity people show, if they're only given the opportunity. And then it makes me sad that the overwhelming majority of them won't get that say.
Lovely content mate, and might come in handy on my travels!

I would love this little thing. I hope it won't break easy.
That's very clever. Of course, the best thing to do is insulate one's entire house, but that can be expensive if you don't know how to do it yourself.
ramrod np
its made by germans u know high quality, accurate and stuff :)
Cool story bro!;)
This is brilliant! I think the design looks quite nice too
This is totally the adult equivalent to building a fort with chairs and sheets.
I want one so bad.
woah lol too bad it's hot here 24/7
thats quite interesting lol im sure that some potheads would make it their "smoke concentration" room haha
Wow, very clever idea bro
I want one O_O
That looks crazy. Makes sense, really, but still isn't... well, very practical in it's application.
looks pretty trippy. is there an approximate price for this?
... JUST HOW MANY BODIES ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Also it would be cool if there was a mini room that could stay cool in hot places.
Awesome! Like the grown-up version of making a castle out of pillows :D
that thing looks as if it will collapse with a slight push.
i would build one of those to take chicks to and bang them. and if they didn't come willingly, i'd consider using date raep drugs.
Plus you could get drunk and totally tear out of it like that scene from Fire In The Sky when he wakes up in the alien pod.
build it and keep the window open... what would happen?
lol I'm so making one
That is actually pretty aesthetically pleasing. It seems more like a hermit-hole for an introvert than anything, which I do not mind.
weird
It seems like a really good idea, but those prototypes look pretty ugly in my opinion. But still, great idea!
I could use one.. so I don't get distracted from doing homework..
ooo gosh.. That room looks scary to me...
looks weird
Cool bro! :D

Cool bro! :D

Nice post brah!
I need one!! Looking at the way it is built, I might do it y myself!
S!

Wow, this is really interesting. Unfortunately I live in the desert so this is kinda irrelevant. Maybe I could hook it up to my refrigerator?
This would eat up a lot of space. I have enough room in my room to stand up, walk in a circle, and sit down.
Where do you find these things. Nice!
