Skype has unveiled a series of prepaid cards for the UK, offering users without a credit card the ability to top-up their accounts starting from £10. A second £20 card will also be available in UK retailers including Asda, Currys, PC World, Sainsburys and bookseller WHSmith, with both denominations redeemable globally through the Microsoft company's online portal. This is great news in my opinion. The minute that I get a chance and see one of these cards I'll probably be buying one because it just seems like it'd be so much more useful, great to see Skype giving their loyal UK customers this as a form of recognition.
