These watches are great. They are good-looking, colorful and 80-93% biodegradable. They are made of wonderful materials such as bamboo, organic cotton, mineral crystal lenses, and mercury-free batteries. Sprout has even managed to sell them at a reasonable price. The entry-level model starts at $30, while the top-of-line model climbs to a pricey, but not exorbitant $75.
whenever I see biodegradable on something I always feel like I can litter.
ReplyDeleteAll sounds pretty cool. I use my watch alot and it's got scratches on it and I've broken a few in the past. This might be the right watch for me. Loved the post, very infomative.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, and cheap. Always love a product that doesn't murder people/animals/other forms of life in the process of making it.
ReplyDeleteI liked those.
ReplyDeleteWatches perfect a man's style.. and these ones seem the right ones for it.
ReplyDeletebiodegradable? watches are supposed to last forever!!!
ReplyDeletewhere can i buy one?
ReplyDeletehahaaaa biodegradable watches now i've seen everything
ReplyDeleteWell, I do need a new watch...
ReplyDeleteSupporting!
As much as I need a new watch, I could possibly buy a non-biodegradable one and a hammer when it dies to dispose of it properly. I wonder also if it can last so long it starts to biodegrade when you're wearing it.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a Tag Heuer myself. People mostly just to capitalize on the biodegradable/organic/etc. I want a watch that will last.
ReplyDeletePretty cool concept. I saw a wall clock made from buttons the other night at an art exhibition.
ReplyDeleteAlso mechanical watches are 100% recyclable, just metal and glass...not sure if leather brands are considered biodegradable so I'll stick with my statement for metal banded ones :)
