Fujitsu TH40/D Tablet Finally Sliding Out in Japan
It's mid-July now, and things have been mostly quiet surrounding the 10-inch tablet's keyboard-packing goodness. The Windows 7 device, which debuted back in May, is now scheduled for a July 22nd release in its native Japan, according to new reports. Once that date rolls around, ¥80,000 (around $1,010) should buy you all the games of "hide-a-keyboard" that your heart desires.
I'm digging this! I always thought tablets would soon be in direct competition with laptops and this is one step further in that direction. And really who spends $100 for an external keyboard for the iPad. This is the way to go. Wonder how Windows will run on this device.
I was gonna cry about how this, in fact, is not a tablet ('cause of the keyboard) but then I went to wiki and saw: "A tablet personal computer or tablet PC is tablet-sized computer that also has the key features of a full-size personal computer. A tablet PC is essentially a small laptop computer, equipped with a rotateable touchscreen as an additional input device, and running a standard (or lightly adapted) PC operating system like Windows or Linux." Why not simply call it small laptops, then?
hmm thats nice :)

I like playing hide the keyboard, but not sure if I'd pay that much to do it. It'd be much cheaper to buy a keyboard and hide it lol.
