Google Searches Around the Globe Visualized

Using WebGL and different color crayons for each language, the coders at Mountain View have put together the above Search Globe, which presents a single day's worth of Google queries in a beautiful, skyscraper-infused visualization.

  1. That's neat. I'm concerned that google may become the next big brother. But I'm more concerned that the next Big Brother may be called google...

  2. This is spectacular. I just got Google Earth. Saw that it had Google Moon, Sky and Mars. They are amazing with what they are doing.

  8. This is a really cool idea. Finding ways to visualize numbers is always interesting and it makes patterns much easier to spot.
