If you find yourself a member of column B, listen up, because Gates, NuVinci, andBosch have created an e-bike concept that'll satisfy your two-wheeled transportation needs. Gates supplied its Carbon electric belt drive, NuVinci brought its N360 infinitely variable planetary hub, and Bosch threw in a battery and control system to make a bicycle beauty.
The power train is set up to give riders pedal-assist with four settings that go from Lance to lazy, depending on your mood. At an estimated cost of €2,600 - €3,200 ($3,680 - $4,530).
Interesting. Cant wait to see what this will be like when it actually comes out.
ReplyDelete"from Lance to Lazy."
ReplyDeleteI lol'd. It looks pretty sweet. I'd get one just to piss off the hipsters riding around on their fixies!
Oh man, that costs as much as a used car :(
ReplyDeleteFuck lazy people. Who is going to buy this? It costs too much to be affordable by young people, who would rather get a car than this 99.9% of the time and anybody who does own one probably wouldn't use it most of the time because it fucking defeats the purpose of a bicycle: i.e. EXERCISE.
ReplyDeletea bit too pricey for me, but great concept.
ReplyDeleteThis actually looks VERY cool. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteReally interesting stuff. I'd like to have one of those.
ReplyDeleteHow lazy. Stickin with original bikes.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea, it's just too bad about the price. I think it would have to be under $1000 for it to be a really viable option.
ReplyDeletePrice is not that bad. A good bike like a trek etc. are between 1000-2500 anyway!
ReplyDelete@guy
ReplyDeletemake sure you wear your helmet and full skin tight biking attire also!
interesting!!
