Made from graphene, these batteries would do well paired up with the flexible OLED displays.
In fact, coincidentally enough, the KAIST team is also attempting to apply their bendable graphene battery technique to OLED displays and solar cells. The future, how bendy it's become!
Nice, lots of possibilities for new technology in the future. Maybe even bendable e-readers that behave much more like paper.
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool. Bendy phones now please. Banana shaped.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely gonna need some flexible ipads in here.
ReplyDeleteLooks quite promising. Hope to see this at a marketable level in the future.
ReplyDeleteWow, nice! I hope that these are more environmentally friendly than their older counterparts.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to get my hands on one of those new oled display phones
ReplyDeleteThis will also be nice for design as well
ReplyDeleteThe potential is limitless! Although I can't think of one yet, but there are smarter people out there.
ReplyDeletehaha thats nifty, makes me think of those bendy pencils that were all the rage in elementary school
ReplyDeletethis is AWSOME
ReplyDeletegreat to see batteries get even better
ReplyDeleteThere are many possibilities here ranging from a more compact battery to an increase in safety.
ReplyDeletethat is like the best idea ever!
ReplyDeleteNokia is already developing nokia morph which bends :D
ReplyDeletenever thought id see the day!
ReplyDeleteI remember reading an article around 2008 maybe saying flexible phones and screens will be available to all by 2010. What a Joke! Hopefully these batteries will become mainstream and have a low carbon footprint.
