The OM wireless optical mouse is a flat surface the size of a hand, only 10 millimeter thick at its highest point. In theory, it makes your hand relax. In the practice, it's a very cool concept.
Apparently, most of the hand strain comes from the sides of current mouses. Buy getting rid of them, the OM would solve this problem, the designer says. Whatever. I just think it looks great.
Wow that is quite an amazing mouse.
ReplyDeletenah, mice are shaped the way they are for a reason, this would hurt like hell to use.
ReplyDeleteAwesome mouse. Looks from the future or somethn.
ReplyDeletethe design didn't impress me, i'll stay with my old mouse
ReplyDeleteBadass looking mouse
ReplyDeleteI don`t know what to sav...I want one...
ReplyDeletegreat post, visit me
ReplyDeletetoo thin!
ReplyDeletei wish my scroll wheel was a glowing green light...
ReplyDeleteGreen alien lights are always good.
ReplyDeleteHm... lack of grip might be a problem for this mouse. Mouses generally have a concave shape for a comfortable fit around the hand.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it could break if you drop it >.>
ReplyDeletewoah... i'm surprised apple didn't come up with this design...
ReplyDeleteSweet mouse! kinda makes my mouse look old and crappy. lol.
ReplyDeleteitd be too weird...its like having ur hand on a flat surface
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like it!
ReplyDeletethats what I call creative technology.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. I would have to use it to see if I would like it, but the flat design seems like it may be an issue in gaming and moving the mouse alot...
ReplyDeleteI bet it's 1200 euros, like the Optimus Maximus keyboard :(
ReplyDeleteI'd be afraidto break it.....
ReplyDeleteoh you fancy huh?
ReplyDeletelooks great! not sure if suitable for FPS gaming tho
ReplyDeleteSmatchimo is right, this would hurt. I think "..in theory.." is about right
ReplyDeletethat looks uncomfortable as hell
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I can kind of see this working. I have some minor repetitive motion damage in my right arm, and while I do everything I can to alleviate it (using a stylus and tablet instead of a mouse, switching hands, wearing a brace) the stylus isn't great for everything and a redesigned mouse is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteLooks good for casual use, but for gaming, I can see the mouse slipping out of your hand a lot.
ReplyDeleteGood-looking mouse!
