Special forces may use throat mics to coordinate near-silent attacks on enemy bases, but Sanwa wants to bring all that convenience to your next supermarket run.
Sanwa's hands-free throat mic looks like a military headset, but it's made for use with your cellphone. Good for noisy environments and just those times you don't want the cabbie to know about your ass rash, Sanwa's system should be available for import soon.
i like it
ReplyDeletecool....i love this
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I'm definitely interested in this. Have to look up more about it.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't exactly seem to be somethings that's gonna work well
ReplyDeleteWhat happens if you burp, hiccup, hack&spit etc?
ReplyDeletecool concept!
ReplyDeleteso people can hear you swallow? oh god
ReplyDeleteIt's a neat piece of tech, but I fail to see it really being practical for the standard user.
ReplyDeleteI'm amused...but the problem with standard throat mics is that they are more than a bit uncomfortable and feel like a very tiny person trying to choke you from behind.
ReplyDeleteI don't see these taking off well except perhaps with ex-military unless they somehow changed it enough that the pressure is unnecessary to remain on your throat.
Any idea how much this is gunna cost? Seems like I could use it while driving/walking! Looks pretty cool as well!
ReplyDeletei'd buy me this one actually. looks sexy. I wonder how good does it work
ReplyDeletelooks nice but depends on what it will cost^^
ReplyDeleteAh, technology wins again
ReplyDeleteWhen I first glanced at that picture I thought it was a crotch shot of a girl in a thong. I'm tired.
ReplyDeleteIf you try to escape, does it blow your head off?

ReplyDeleteOk that's cool.
ReplyDeleteThat is something I could use on my motorbike.
ReplyDeletethose are some hot earphones.
ReplyDeletesuperb design
ReplyDeleteDon't think this would be for me. Rather have a standard mic. If I have something to say to someone that I don't want other people hearing, I'll go and talk to that person in private.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice alternative to a headset. I'd consider buying one as long as it's not exceedingly costly.
