Occasionally I cover my ears and sing "Lalalala, I'm not listening to your concept description." Today I'm covering them and begging "No! Don't punch holes into my poor earlobes and make me use this hearing aid when I'm old! Please!"
I understand that it's a gradual process to stretch out one's earlobes and wear jewelry that looks like the PLUG hearing aid concept—it's even trendy to some—but that doesn't mean that I could imagine a lot of people actually using this hearing aid if it ever turns into a real product.
I've always wanted a legitimate excuse to stretch my ears, now i just need to become partially deaf
ReplyDeletenice for ppl who are into that look
ReplyDeleteThat's gnarly... who comes up with all this stuff? That's gotta be an awesome job
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! i need 1! :P
ReplyDeletewow, that's a pretty big stretch too =O
ReplyDeleteI couldn't ever wear those (ears aren't modified) but half the people I know around her certainly could.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he aspires to thread a dick through his ear. Possibly his own.
ReplyDeleteI like you blog, so I have decided to follow you, feel free to pop over to kevs.biz and say hi.
ReplyDeleteThat;s awesome!
ReplyDeletelol i dont think id wear something like that
ReplyDeleteHonestly, that gives me another reason to buy a Masterlock and lock it in someone's stretched earlobe.
ReplyDeleteI dont see why this cant partially be applied to regular hoop earrings... seems plausable enough
ReplyDeletehaha so now these kids with the gauged ears have something to look forward to when they get old!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not attention grabbing. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never liked that look before but I guess this is really nice if you do like the look and have hearing problems. Why not combine the two?
ReplyDeletethis is really creative!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the look of stretched out earlobs. However, the idea of using an earring for a hearing aid is awesome. I would totally get a leet hearing aid like the earrings from DBZ and have the cable that connects it to my inner ear sewn into my skin so you couldn't even notice it!
ReplyDeletei'd like to put a padlock on every single one of those things
ReplyDeleteLol this has to be a joke!!? Rather learn sign language ;)
ReplyDeleteeh. I'd wear it if I ever gauged up that high
ReplyDeleteit makes sense, in a way. A lot of people with large lobe piercings also go to loud music shows.
I'm pierced, but I'm not one to stretch out my lobes, if anythign the lowest gauge I'll go is a 4, because at least in the future I'll be able to let my holes close up if I wanted to.
ReplyDeleteHipster Aides
ReplyDeletedefinitely not ever gonna use those
ReplyDeleteunbelievable post
ReplyDeleteUgh. When you are 40 those stretched out lobes are gonna look like something out of National Geographic.
ReplyDeletedoesn't seem very feasible.. i don't think we'll be seeing this on the market
ReplyDeleteim all set up i wont look like a geezer!
ReplyDeletenice thing !
ReplyDeleteYeah - no way... lol
ReplyDeletenice stretch!
ReplyDeletei find these creepy as hell! But cool man.
ReplyDeletenice for the punksters
ReplyDeletehey man.
ReplyDeletei see you got your blogspot sorted.
it was giving me troubles with freezing and comments link not working. its working now.
nice
ReplyDeletethat looks painful...
ReplyDeleteDon't touch my ear ! :(
ReplyDeletevery cool
ReplyDeletelol thats a great invention!!! with all the ppl wearing spacers...
ReplyDeleteI really think its ugly. And you have to be stretched the right amount to use that. Fail :(
ReplyDeletehaha awesome concept
ReplyDeleteew I hate those plugs. People who wear them are stupid. What happens when the trend starts to fall? You take the plugs out and you have huge nasty holes in your ears! Plus, someone can run by while you have the plugs in, and stick a padlock in it and run away xD
ReplyDeletelol cool concept
ReplyDeleteIf it works then it works, I suppose. Whether or not it works better than a traditional hearing aid will be the real test.
