The rugged Casio G'zOne Ravine phone has undergone rigorous military testing, so the stresses and strains of life—like your everyday, run-of-the-mill immersion, blowing rain, shock, sand/dust, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, low pressure, high & low temps—won't phase it at all.
Phone/Display
Don't drop everything just because you have to make a call—open and talk on the Casio G'zOne Ravine with one touch. And with noise cancellation, you won't miss a word of your conversation on the job site or in the jungle. The 2.20", 240×320, 65K, TFT LCD screen makes it easy for you to see who's calling in, say, a dense salt fog.
Messaging, Data, and Camera
Threaded texts keeps your SMS, EMS and MMS messages organized for easy access. Enjoy V CAST Video and music—you can store up to 322 GB of media files. The 3.2 megapixel camera has an LED flash and video capabilities.
Fun Stuff
The Casio G'zOne Ravine has a triple sensor for G'zGear that acts as a pedometer, compass, and thermometer to keep you informed of your level of ruggedness at all times. The VZ Navigator capability provides audible maps, turn-by-turn directions, and the ability to share location information for more than 14 million points of interest. Truly a phone for the adventurers among us. Price: $199.99 on Verizon.
How much does it cost new though?
ReplyDeletedamn ima have to look into this fone mine are always getting broken
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the old Samsung A300 on steroids.
ReplyDeleteI've stopped packing mine due to breakage. I can't keep a cell phone whole for more then 4 months!
ReplyDeleteI'd hope the light isn't bright enough for enemies to spot and blow us up!
ReplyDeletelooks cool, but how much will it cost?
ReplyDeleteI have the G'zOne Boulder and I can tell ya, these things are built like tanks. I skip mine across ponds, kick it around, throw it at people, talk on it in the shower, and it still works like the day I got it.
ReplyDeletethis is something I need!
ReplyDeleteI love gadgets!
ReplyDeleteSound way tougher than my life requires, hahha.
ReplyDeletedefinitely need that. if it can keep up with me, i want it.
ReplyDeletei need a phone like this
ReplyDeleteLooks boss
ReplyDeletesweet phone!
ReplyDeleteNow all they need to do is make smart phones like this.
ReplyDeleteHot Dam!
ReplyDeleteNice! A rugged phone built for abuse that actually LOOKS cool, too.
ReplyDeletethat seems like a good phone
ReplyDeleteYes, but can it get angry birds? :)
ReplyDeleteThey've come along way since keyboards and watches. ;)
ReplyDelete11:11 make a wish! Haha.
ReplyDeletewow, thats cool, phone meant for really physical/outdoorsy or clumsy people. Its also wishtime on the phone. I wish i could get it for a good price lol!
ReplyDeleteYou'd think with extensive military testing they would have picked a different color. Black tends to blend in too much and just hide. And cell phones wouldn't be as prone to breaking from a drop if they invested in flexible displays and more durable plastics.
ReplyDeletei know plenty of people that could use one of these...
ReplyDeletelooks nice
ReplyDeleteOh sweet, i need to get a new phone, i might just get this one.
ReplyDeleteI need one of these, my Nokia has only a month in Mexico City and its having a hard time here,.
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeletewow, that thing seems awesome....
ReplyDeleteSeems awesome, but I've never had problems with breaking my phones :P So no need! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've got one of the earlier versions of this from Verizon Wireless. It has served me well; especially when it was thrown across the room.
ReplyDeleteThis is the phone I'd imagine Bear Grylls having.
ReplyDeleteThis must be the phone I need!
ReplyDeleteWonder if it will fit me
ReplyDeleteSeems a bit over the top if you ask me :D
ReplyDeleteamazing design i wish i have one
ReplyDeletethat's the one thing i'd like to have if i got lost in the woods lol
ReplyDeleteI wonder how expensive is it...
ReplyDeletethis phone does really outlast all the others.
ReplyDeletei've raped mine like 30 times and it's still chugging along
Wow fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteI will stick with my Samsung!
